Dumisani Adoons is a Capacity Building Officer South African National Tuberculosis Association (SANTA). He is a first year Psychology student and a holds Higher Certificate in Social Auxiliary Work. He is a Trained and registered Skills Development Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator with the ETDP SETA. He received a training in Recognition of Prior Learning NQF level 7. He is also working as a private consultant to assist companies and organizations to obtain SETAs accreditation including that of the South African Nursing Council. He Participated in the implementation of the I ACT Protective Evaluation study in collaboration with Dr. Allen of the University of Minnesota. He Co-authored the guide that would assist the Free State Department of Health and other key stakeholders in the implementation of the I ACT strategy. He also Co-developed the algorithm and health care worker provider card as job aids in order to assist the Department of Health. He Facilitated accreditation process for SANTA to obtain full accreditation in Community Health Work, Social Auxiliary Work and Ancillary Health Care full qualifications and other skills programmes.
